The trail is well-maintained, and you can expect to spend around 2 to 3 hours hiking to reach the endpoint at Alpiglen.

  • Return Journey

    To return to Grindelwald, you can either hike back the same way or take the train from Alpiglen back to Grindelwald. If you choose to hike back, follow the same Eiger Trail path. If you prefer to take the train, head to the Alpiglen station, and board the train back to Grindelwald, which will take about 20 minutes.
