Getting there

Bus

From Grindelwald, walk to the Grindelwald bus station located near the train station. Once there, take the PostBus towards Lauterbrunnen. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lauterbrunnen bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the main road. Follow the signs for Mürrenbachfall, which is about a 30-minute hike from the bus stop. The trailhead begins at the end of the main road, where you will see signs directing you to the waterfall.

Train and Bus

Start at Grindelwald train station. Take the train towards Interlaken Ost and get off at Lauterbrunnen station. The train ride takes about 20 minutes. After arriving at Lauterbrunnen, exit the station and head to the nearby bus stop. Take the PostBus towards Stechelberg and get off at the 'Lauterbrunnen, Mürrenbachfall' stop. From there, it's a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) following the signs to reach the waterfall.

Hiking

If you're feeling adventurous and fit, you can hike from Grindelwald to Lauterbrunnen. Start at the Grindelwald train station and follow the signs for the hiking trail to Lauterbrunnen. The hike is about 10 kilometers and will take roughly 3-4 hours. You'll be treated to stunning views along the way. Once you reach Lauterbrunnen, follow the signs to Mürrenbachfall, which is about a 30-minute hike from the village center.
