    If you are starting from the Grindelwald train station, exit the station and head straight onto the main road. Follow the signs for Unterseen, which is about a 30-minute walk. You will begin to see the beautiful scenery of the Bernese Alps. Continue walking along the main road until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road heading toward Unterseen. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Ruine Weissenau. Turn left onto the path leading uphill toward the ruins, which is about a 10-minute walk from the main road.

    From Grindelwald, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located right outside the train station. Take bus number 2 towards Unterseen. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Unterseen, Schloss Weissenau' stop. From there, you can follow the signs to Ruine Weissenau, which is a short 5-minute walk uphill.
