  • Train

    From Grindelwald, walk to the Grindelwald train station, which is located in the center of the village. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Wengen. The train departs every 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Wengen, you will be in the heart of the village, surrounded by stunning mountain views.

  • Hiking

    If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can hike from Grindelwald to Wengen. Start at the center of Grindelwald and follow the signposts for the hiking trail to Wengen. The hike is approximately 4.5 km and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. The trail offers beautiful views of the valley and mountains, so make sure to have your camera ready!

  • Cable Car

    Alternatively, you can take the cable car from Grindelwald to First, and then hike or take a connecting transport to Wengen. Start by walking to the First cable car station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the village center.
