Start from the center of Grindelwald, at the main train station (Grindelwald Bahnhof). Exit the station and head towards the main street (Dorfstrasse). Walk along Dorfstrasse until you reach the Firstbahn cable car station, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. The Firstbahn station is located at Schreckfeld, 3818 Grindelwald. Follow the signs for 'First' which will guide you to the cable car entrance.

Once you arrive at the Firstbahn cable car station, purchase your tickets for the ride to First. The cable car will take you to the First mountain area, which is about a 25-minute ride.
