Walking
From the center of Grindelwald, head towards the Grindelwald train station. Once you reach the station, take the train towards Interlaken Ost. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the Wilderswil station. From Wilderswil station, exit and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, following the road as it curves slightly. Look for signs pointing towards Rothenfluh. You will see a trail leading uphill towards Rothenfluh ruins. Follow the trail up for about 20 minutes until you reach the ruins.

Bus
Start at the Grindelwald bus station, located near the train station. Take the bus number 21 towards Wilderswil. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. Get off at the Rothenfluh stop. Upon exiting the bus, follow the signs leading to the Rothenfluh ruins, which is a short 5-minute walk uphill from the bus stop.

Hiking
If you enjoy hiking, you can start your journey from Grindelwald by taking the hiking trail that leads towards Wilderswil. Head towards the direction of the First cable car station and follow the marked hiking trails. This route will take you through beautiful landscapes and will take approximately 1 hour to reach Rothenfluh. Make sure to bring water and wear comfortable hiking shoes.
