From Interlaken Ost station, take a train towards Kandersteg. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kandersteg station, exit the train and follow the signs towards the village center.

Walking
After arriving at Kandersteg station, walk straight down the main road (Dorfstrasse) for about 1.5 km. You will see several signs pointing towards Blüemlisalphütte. Continue walking until you reach the trailhead; from there, follow the marked hiking trails up towards Blüemlisalphütte, which may take a couple of hours depending on your hiking speed.

From Kandersteg station, you can also take a local bus that goes to the starting point of the hiking trail to Blüemlisalphütte. Check the local bus schedule for the most current times. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes.
