From Interlaken Ost train station, take the train to Wilderswil. The train journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Wilderswil, exit the train and follow the signs to the Schynige Platte cogwheel train station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the Wilderswil station.

At the Schynige Platte train station, purchase a ticket for the cogwheel train to Schynige Platte. The train ride offers stunning views and takes about 30 minutes to reach the top. Enjoy the scenic journey as you ascend into the mountains.

Once you arrive at Schynige Platte, you can start your hike towards Loucherhorn. Follow the well-marked hiking trails that begin at the Schynige Platte station.
