Train
If you are in Lausanne, start by heading to the Lausanne Train Station (Gare de Lausanne). You can take a train heading towards Vevey. The trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Vevey Station, exit the station and walk towards the lake. The Alimentarium is located about a 15-minute walk from the station. Head straight down Rue du Simplon, then take a right onto Rue de la Gare. Continue straight until you reach Quai Perdonnet. The museum will be on your left at number 25.
Bus
From the center of Lausanne, you can take the bus number 21 from the stop 'Gare' (which is near the train station) towards Vevey. Get off at the stop 'Vevey, Gare.' From there, walk towards the lakefront (Quai Perdonnet). The Alimentarium is located approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head straight down Avenue du Général-Guisan, then turn left onto Quai Perdonnet. The museum will be on your right at number 25.
Walk
If you are already in Vevey or prefer walking from the city center, start at the Vevey Town Hall (Hôtel de Ville). From there, walk towards the lake along Rue de la Gare, which will turn into Quai Perdonnet. Follow the waterfront, and you will see the Alimentarium at Quai Perdonnet 25. This walk will take about 15-20 minutes, providing beautiful views of Lake Geneva along the way.
