Train
From the Lausanne train station (Gare de Lausanne), take a train towards Montreux. Make sure to check the departure board for the next train as trains run frequently. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Veytaux-Chillon station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs directing you towards Chillon Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk along the lakeside path.

Bus
From the Lausanne city center, you can take bus line 201 from the 'Gare' bus stop (located in front of the train station). The bus will take you to the 'Veytaux-Chillon' stop, which is very close to Chillon Castle. The journey takes around 40 minutes. After getting off the bus, follow the signs to Chillon Castle, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, it is possible to walk from Lausanne to Chillon Castle. Start at the Lausanne train station and head down to the lakeshore promenade. Follow the promenade heading towards Montreux. The walk is approximately 4.5 kilometers and will take about 1 hour. Enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Geneva along the way. Once you reach the castle, it will be clearly visible from the path.
