Train
From Lausanne, head to the Lausanne train station (Gare de Lausanne). You can reach the station by walking or taking a metro. If walking, exit the main square and walk towards the lake. The train station is located at the end of the main street, Rue de la Gare. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Bulle, which is the closest train station to Gruyère District. The train journey will take approximately 55 minutes. When you arrive at Bulle, exit the train station and look for the bus stop outside. Take bus number 10 towards 'Gruyères' and stay on for about 30 minutes until you reach the Gruyères stop. Follow the signs to the Gruyère District.

From the center of Lausanne, go to the bus terminal located near the main train station. You can take bus number 1 towards 'Ouchy' and get off at 'Lausanne Gare'. From there, transfer to bus number 10, which goes directly to 'Gruyères'. The bus ride will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand to ensure you catch the right bus. Once you arrive at the Gruyères stop, follow the signs to the Gruyère District.
