From Lausanne's main train station (Gare de Lausanne), take the M2 metro line towards Ouchy. Ride for 2 stops and get off at the Ouchy station. Once you exit the metro, follow the signs to the Promenade, which leads you to the waterfront. Walk along the lakefront promenade until you reach the intersection with Rue du Vieux-Port. Turn right onto Rue du Vieux-Port, and you will soon see Fontaine Place du Vieux-Port on your left.

From the Lausanne main train station (Gare de Lausanne), take bus number 21 towards Ouchy. Ride for 4 stops and get off at the Ouchy, Port stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the lake and follow the waterfront promenade. Continue walking until you reach Rue du Vieux-Port. Turn left onto Rue du Vieux-Port, and Fontaine Place du Vieux-Port will be on your left.

If you prefer to walk from the city center, start at the Place de la Gare and head south towards Rue de la Mercerie. Continue on Rue de la Mercerie until you reach Place de la Palud. From there, head towards Rue de la Madeleine and down to the lakefront. Follow the promenade along the lake until you arrive at the intersection with Rue du Vieux-Port. Turn left onto Rue du Vieux-Port, and Fontaine Place du Vieux-Port will be on your left.
