Walking
From the Ouchy waterfront promenade, head northeast along the lakeshore. Walk towards the Palais de Beaulieu, which is a large conference center. As you approach the Palais de Beaulieu, you will see signs directing you to Place du Vieux-Port. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, where you will find a small bridge that leads over the railway tracks. Cross the bridge, and you will see the entrance to Place du Vieux-Port directly in front of you. The entire walk should take about 10-15 minutes.

Public Transport (Metro)
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take the Metro Line M2 from the Ouchy-Olympique station. Board the train in the direction of Épalinges. Ride for one stop and get off at the next station, which is 'Lausanne.' From there, exit the station and walk towards the Place du Vieux-Port, which is about a 5-minute walk. Follow the signs towards the waterfront, and you will see the fountain at Place du Vieux-Port ahead of you. A single metro ticket costs around CHF 3.

Public Transport (Bus)
You can also take Bus Line 21 from the Ouchy area. Board the bus at the Ouchy stop and ride for two stops. Get off at 'Lausanne, Vieux-Port.' From there, it's just a short walk of about 3 minutes to reach Fontaine Place du Vieux-Port. The bus fare is approximately CHF 2.50 for a single journey.
