Getting There

  • Public Transportation

    From Lauterbrunnen, take the train to Interlaken Ost. This train ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Interlaken Ost, transfer to the train heading to Lauterbrunnen. Continue to the station of Kleine Scheidegg, which is about 40 minutes from Interlaken. From Kleine Scheidegg, board the Jungfrau Railway, which will take you directly to Jungfraujoch Plateau. The total journey time from Lauterbrunnen to Jungfraujoch is about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Be aware that the round trip ticket from Lauterbrunnen to Jungfraujoch costs approximately CHF 100-150 depending on the season and if you have a Swiss Travel Pass.

    If you are driving, take the A8 motorway from Lauterbrunnen towards Interlaken. Follow the signs to Grindelwald and then to Kleine Scheidegg.
