Car
If you are driving, make your way to Lauterbrunnen Valley. From Interlaken, take the A8 highway towards Spiez, then follow signs for Lauterbrunnen. Once in Lauterbrunnen, follow signs to the Staubbachfall parking area, located at Beim Staubbach. The parking lot is just a short walk from the viewpoint. Note that parking fees may apply, typically around CHF 5-10 for a few hours.
Public Transportation
To reach Staubbachfall Viewpoint using public transportation, take a train to Lauterbrunnen from Interlaken Ost station. The train ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Lauterbrunnen station, exit the train and follow the signs to the bus stop. Board the bus heading towards 'Stechelberg' and get off at the 'Staubbachfall' stop. The viewpoint is a short, 5-minute walk from the bus stop, where you will be greeted by stunning views of the waterfall. A single train ticket from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen costs around CHF 9-12.
Walking
If you are already in Lauterbrunnen, you can walk to the Staubbachfall Viewpoint. Start from the Lauterbrunnen village center and head towards the waterfall. Follow the signs for Staubbachfall, which will lead you along the main road (Dorfstrasse). It’s about a 15-minute walk to the viewpoint. The path is well-marked and offers picturesque views of the valley along the way.
