From Locarno's main train station (Stazione FFS), walk to the bus stop located right outside the station. Take bus number 31 towards 'Maggia'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Maggia, Posta' stop. Once you disembark, Valle Maggia is a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the valley entrance, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

Start at Locarno train station (Stazione FFS). Take a train towards 'Domodossola' and get off at 'Maggia' station. The train ride will take about 15 minutes. After exiting the train, walk to the nearby bus stop and take bus number 31 towards 'Maggia'. Get off at 'Maggia, Posta'. From there, Valle Maggia is only a short walk away, following the signs to the entrance of the valley.
