Ferry
If you are in Locarno, walk towards the waterfront area where the Locarno Ferry Terminal is located. From there, take a ferry to Bellagio, which is a scenic route across Lake Como. The ferry ride will take approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Bellagio ferry terminal, exit the terminal and head straight onto Via Lungo Lario Manzoni. I Giardini di Villa Melzi will be a short walk ahead on your right.

Train and Bus
Start by walking to the Locarno Train Station, which is about 10 minutes from the city center. Take a train to Varenna-Esino. The journey will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive in Varenna, follow the signs to the ferry terminal and take a ferry to Bellagio. After arriving at the Bellagio ferry terminal, walk straight onto Via Lungo Lario Manzoni. I Giardini di Villa Melzi will be directly ahead on your right.

Upon disembarking from the ferry at Bellagio, exit the ferry terminal and walk towards the main street, Via Lungo Lario Manzoni. Continue walking along the lakeside path for about 10-15 minutes. You will see beautiful gardens and villas along the way. I Giardini di Villa Melzi will be on your right, easily identifiable by its beautiful gates and manicured gardens.
