Train
From Lucerne, walk to Lucerne train station (Bahnhof Luzern). Purchase a ticket to Engelberg, which is approximately a 45-minute train ride. Board the train heading towards Engelberg, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you arrive at Engelberg station, exit the train and walk straight out of the station.

After exiting Engelberg train station, head towards the main road (Dorfstrasse). Turn left onto Dorfstrasse, and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass various shops and restaurants. Look for signs pointing towards Engelberg Abbey (Kloster Engelberg). The Abbey is located at Benediktinerkloster 1, and you will see it ahead as you approach the area.

Alternatively, from Engelberg train station, you can take a local bus (Bus 1) towards Engelberg, which takes you closer to the Abbey. Make sure to get off at the 'Kloster' bus stop. From there, it’s just a short walk (about 5 minutes) to Engelberg Abbey, following the signs.
