Public Transport
Start at Lucerne's main train station (Luzern Bahnhof). From there, take the bus number 24 towards 'Meggen, Ried' or 'Meggen, Riedstrasse'. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Meggen, Ried' stop. From the bus stop, walk along the Meggenhornstrasse for about 10 minutes, following the road signs towards Meggenhorn. The castle will be located on your left-hand side.

Walking
If you prefer a scenic walk, you can stroll along the shores of Lake Lucerne. Start at the lakeside promenade near the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke). Head south towards the 'Luzern, Bahnhof' ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry towards 'Meggen' (check the ferry schedule for timings). Enjoy the beautiful views during the ride, which lasts about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Meggen ferry dock, exit and walk approximately 15 minutes up Meggenhornstrasse to reach the castle.
