Walking
From Chapel Bridge, head towards the eastern end of the bridge. As you reach the end, follow the path leading down towards the water. Continue walking along the lakeside promenade, enjoying views of the lake and mountains. After about 5 minutes, you will see the Rathaussteg bridge directly in front of you, connecting to the old town. You can cross the bridge to enjoy the picturesque views.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer a quicker route, you can take a bus. From Chapel Bridge, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Stop Luzern, Bahnhof'. This is about a 5-minute walk towards the main train station. At the bus stop, take Bus Line 1 or 2 towards 'Kriens, Post' or 'Kriens, Zentrum'. Alight at the stop 'Luzern, Rathaus', which is just a short distance from Rathaussteg. This whole journey will take around 15-20 minutes, including waiting time.
