Train
From Lucerne train station, take a direct train to Zürich HB (Zürich Hauptbahnhof). The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Zürich HB, follow the signs to the main exit, which will lead you to the street level.
Tram
After exiting Zürich HB, find the tram stop located just outside the main station. Take tram line 4 or 6 towards 'Toni-Areal' or 'Escher-Wyss-Platz'. Get off at the stop called 'Rathaus' which is a short walk from Niederdorf.
Walking
After getting off at the 'Rathaus' tram stop, walk towards the river (Limmat) and cross the bridge. Once on the other side, head straight into Niederdorf, which is a charming pedestrian area filled with shops and restaurants.
Bus
Alternatively, from Zürich HB, you can also take bus 31 from the bus terminal just outside the station. Ride for a few stops and get off at 'Rathaus'. This will also leave you a short walk away from Niederdorf.
