From Lucerne's main train station (Bahnhof Lucerne), take the train towards Stans. The train departs regularly, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Stans station, exit the train and follow the signs to the Stanserhorn cable car station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head south on Bahnhofstrasse, turn left onto Ennetmooserstrasse, and continue until you reach the cable car station.

From Lucerne, take bus number 1 from the main bus station (located next to the train station) towards Stans. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Stans, Bahnhof' stop. From there, follow the signs to the Stanserhorn cable car station, which is a 10-minute walk. Walk south on Bahnhofstrasse, turn left onto Ennetmooserstrasse, and you will arrive at the cable car station.
