Train
From Lucerne train station (Luzern Bahnhof), take a train to Zürich HB (Zürich Hauptbahnhof). The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Zürich HB, exit the train station and follow the signs for the tram stop.

At Zürich HB tram stop, take tram line 4 or 6 towards 'Toni-Areal' or 'Escher-Wyss-Platz'. Get off at the 'Central' stop, which is about 5 stops from Zürich HB. From Central, follow the signs to the Polybahn funicular, which is located near the entrance to the ETH Zurich. You will see the funicular station easily.
