Start at Lucerne Train Station (Bahnhof Luzern). From the main entrance, head to the bus terminal located adjacent to the station. Look for Bus 1 (direction: 'Kriens, Zentrum') or Bus 2 (direction: 'Kriens, Obernauer'). Both buses will take you to the stop 'Kriens, Zentrum'. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Once you reach 'Kriens, Zentrum', transfer to the 'Urmiberg' cable car station, which is a short walk (about 5 minutes) from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the cable car station, and you will find the Urmiberg Talstation located at Schillerweg 1, 6440 Ingenbohl. The cable car will take you up to the mountain.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, begin at the Lucerne Train Station (Bahnhof Luzern) and head towards the lakefront. Walk along the lakeside promenade until you reach the 'Luzern, Bahnhof' boat station. From there, take a boat to 'Kriens, Gletscherbahn'. The boat ride offers beautiful views of Lake Lucerne and takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at 'Kriens, Gletscherbahn', follow the signs to the Urmiberg cable car station, which is nearby. The cable car will take you to Urmiberg.
