Getting There

Train and Funicular

From Lucerne main train station (Bahnhof Lucerne), take the train towards Engelberg. This train will take you to the stop called 'Stans.' Upon arrival at Stans, exit the train and look for signs pointing to the Bürgenstock funicular railway. The funicular station is a short walk from the train station. Once you reach the Bürgenstock funicular, purchase your ticket and board the funicular that will take you up to Bürgenstock. Enjoy the scenic views during the ride!
Boat and Funicular

Start at Lucerne's main pier (Luzern Schiffstation) and take a boat on Lake Lucerne towards the 'Bürgenstock' landing. The boat ride offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and the lake. Once you arrive at the Bürgenstock boat dock, follow the signs to the Bürgenstock funicular station.
