From Lucerne, head to the Lucerne train station (Luzern Bahnhof). You can easily walk there if you're in the city center. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Zürich HB (Zürich Hauptbahnhof). The train ride will take approximately 50 minutes. After arriving at Zürich HB, follow the signs to the S-Bahn or tram lines.

At Zürich HB, take tram line 4 towards 'Zürich, Werdhölzli'. Ride the tram for about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Zürich, Opernhaus' stop. The Zürich Opera House (Falkenstrasse 1, 8001 Zürich) will be right in front of you.

From Zürich HB, you can also take bus number 33 towards 'Zürich, Flughafen' and get off at 'Zürich, Opernhaus'. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. The opera house is just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to walk, after arriving at Zürich HB, head towards the main exit. From there, walk south along Bahnhofstrasse for about 1 km, which will take around 15-20 minutes. Continue until you reach the lake, then turn right and follow the path until you see the Zürich Opera House on your left.
