Getting There

    From Lucerne main train station (Luzern Bahnhof), take a direct train to Zürich HB (Zürich Hauptbahnhof). The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Zürich HB, exit the train and follow the signs for the main exit. After exiting, you will be on Bahnhofplatz, a large square.

    From the main exit of Zürich HB, walk to the tram stop located right outside. Take tram number 4 towards 'Zürich, Altstetten'. You will travel for 4 stops and get off at 'Zürich, Helmhaus'. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Zürich's Town Hall. Head towards the Limmat river and walk along the riverbank until you reach Limmatquai 55.

    If you prefer to walk from Zürich HB to Zürich's Town Hall, exit the station and walk straight along Bahnhofstrasse. At the end of the street, turn right onto Limmatquai. Continue walking along Limmatquai for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Limmatquai 55, where the Town Hall is located. You’ll enjoy beautiful views along the river as you walk.
