Walking
If you are starting from Lucerne's main train station (Bahnhof Luzern), exit the station and head towards the lake. Walk along the lakeside promenade towards the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke). Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the end of the bridge. At the end of the bridge, turn left onto Weinmarkt, then take the first right onto Franziskanerplatz. The Franciscan Church will be on your left at Franziskanerpl. 1.

From the main train station (Bahnhof Luzern), take bus number 1 or 4 from the bus stop located outside the station. Get off at the 'Franziskanerplatz' stop. Once you alight, the Franciscan Church is directly in front of you. The walking distance from the bus stop to the church is just a few steps.

If you are near the Lion Monument (Löwendenkmal), head south towards the lake and then turn left onto the lakeside promenade. Walk towards the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) and follow the previous instructions from the main station. Cross the bridge, turn left onto Weinmarkt, and take the first right onto Franziskanerplatz to find the church on your left.
