Walking
If you are starting from the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), head southeast towards the Reuss River. Cross the bridge and continue straight along the riverbank on the Weinmarkt street, following the signs for Reusssteg. The Lucerne Needle Dam is located on the Reusssteg, just a short walk from the bridge.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Lucerne Railway Station (Bahnhof), take bus line 1 towards 'Kriens, Zentrum' or bus line 2 towards 'Horw, Rathaus'. Get off at the 'Reusssteg' stop. From there, walk east along the river for about 5 minutes to reach the Lucerne Needle Dam.

You can also take a boat from the Lucerne Pier (Pier 1) on Lake Lucerne. Board a boat heading towards 'Buochs' or 'Vitznau'. Get off at the 'Reusssteg' stop. Once you disembark, walk east along the river for a few minutes to reach the dam.
