Train
From Lucerne train station (Bahnhof Luzern), take a train towards Zurich HB (Zürich Hauptbahnhof). The train ride takes approximately 45 minutes. Disembark at Baden train station (Bahnhof Baden). Once you arrive at Baden, exit the station and head towards the main road (Aarestrasse).

After exiting the train station in Baden, turn left onto Aarestrasse and continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Schlossbergweg. Turn right onto Schlossbergweg and walk for about 300 meters. You will find Ruine Stein at Schlossbergweg 4/a on your right.

Bus
From Baden train station, you can also take bus number 1 (direction: Ennetbaden, Schützenhaus) from the bus stop located directly outside the train station. Ride the bus for 3 stops and get off at 'Schlossberg'. From there, walk up Schlossbergweg for about 200 meters to reach Ruine Stein.
