Train
From Lugano train station, take a train towards Ponte Tresa. The trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. Get off at Riva San Vitale station, which is about a 20-minute ride. Once you exit the train station, walk straight towards the main road (Via Cantonale) and turn right. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza del Ponte. Bar Riva Lago is located at Piazza del Ponte 12.

From Lugano, take the bus number 5 towards Riva San Vitale. Buses depart from the main bus station near the train station. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Riva San Vitale, Piazza del Ponte.' Bar Riva Lago is just a short walk from the bus stop; it will be on your left at Piazza del Ponte 12.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Lugano and head towards the lakeside. Follow the lake promenade (Lungolago) towards the east. Continue until you reach the end of the promenade, where you will find a path leading towards Riva San Vitale. The walk is about 5 kilometers and takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive in Riva San Vitale, head to Piazza del Ponte, where Bar Riva Lago is located at number 12.
