Take a train from Lugano to Como San Giovanni station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Como San Giovanni, exit the station and head to the bus terminal nearby. Look for bus number C30 towards Lenno. Get off at the stop for 'Lenno,' which is about a 30-minute ride. From Lenno, follow signs to the ferry terminal, where you can catch a ferry to Isola Comacina.

If you prefer to walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery, make your way to the ferry terminal at Piazza Rezzonico. From the city center, head towards the lake, following Via Nassa, then turn left onto Viale Carlo Cattaneo. Continue straight until you reach the lakefront.
