    Getting There

    Bus

    From the center of Lugano (Piazza della Riforma), walk to the nearby bus stop called 'Piazza della Riforma'. Board the bus number 2 (direction: 'Breganzona') or bus number 7 (direction: 'Cassarate'). Remain on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop named 'Lecco'. After disembarking, follow the signs towards the lake, which should be approximately a 10-minute walk downhill from the bus stop.

    Train

    Make your way to the Lugano train station (Stazione Ferroviaria di Lugano). From there, take a train towards 'Lecco' (you may need to change trains at Monza or Milan depending on the schedule). The journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at 'Lecco' station, exit and follow the signs towards the lake, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.

    Walking

    If you are near the lakeside promenade in Lugano, you can enjoy a scenic walk towards the lake. Start from Parco Ciani and head towards the lakeside, following the path along the lakefront. Continue walking for about 45 minutes to an hour, enjoying the views as you make your way toward Lago di Lecco. Note that this route is quite long and may not be ideal for everyone.
