Public Transport
From the main train station in Lugano (Lugano Stazione), take the regional train towards Lecco. The train leaves from platform 1. Enjoy the scenic ride for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the Abbadia Lariana station. Once you arrive at Abbadia Lariana, exit the station and walk towards Via Lungo Lago. The park is located along the lakeside path, approximately a 10-minute walk from the station. Follow the signs towards the lake and you will find Parco di Chiesa Rotta on your left.

If you are in the city center of Lugano, head towards the waterfront promenade along the lake (Lungolago). Walk along the promenade until you reach the bus terminal. From there, you can catch a bus to Abbadia Lariana. After getting off the bus at the Abbadia Lariana stop, walk towards Via Lungo Lago, which is a short walk away. The park is situated along the lakeside, making it an easy and pleasant walk to reach your destination.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Lugano and follow the lakeside bike path towards Abbadia Lariana. The ride is approximately 10 kilometers and will take around 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Abbadia Lariana, you can easily access Parco di Chiesa Rotta by continuing along the lakeside path. The park is well-signposted and should be visible as you approach the area.
