Walking
From the center of Ascona, head south towards the lakeside promenade (Lungolago). Walk along the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. Take a ferry to Bellagio, which is a scenic ride across Lake Maggiore. Once you arrive at the Bellagio ferry terminal, exit and head towards the main road (Via P. S. Francesco). Turn left and walk up the hill until you reach the intersection with Vicolo Pretorio. Turn right onto Vicolo Pretorio, and you will find Chiesa Arcipretale di S. Giovanni Battista at number 1 on your left.

Public Transport
From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop (Ascona, Posta) located on the main road. Take bus line 31 towards Lugano. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Menaggio'. From Menaggio, you can catch a ferry to Bellagio. The ferry ride takes around 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bellagio ferry terminal, proceed to Via P. S. Francesco, turn left and follow the road uphill until you find Vicolo Pretorio. The church is located at number 1 on this street.
