Getting There

  • Train

    From the main train station in Lugano (Lugano Stazione), take a train towards Ponte Tresa. The train ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the Melide station. From Melide station, exit and turn left onto Via Cantonale. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Swissminiatur located at Via Cantonale 13.

  • Bus

    From Lugano, head to the bus stop at 'Lugano, Stazione'. Take the bus line 2 towards 'Melide'. The journey will take around 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Melide, Lago' stop. From there, walk along the waterfront on Via Cantonale for about 5 minutes until you reach Swissminiatur at Via Cantonale 13.

  • Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk from central Lugano to Swissminiatur, start from the Parco Ciani. Head towards the lake and follow the promenade along the waterfront.
