    If you are starting from Lugano's main train station (Lugano Stazione), exit the station and head towards the main street, Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Turn left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini and walk straight. After a few minutes, you will reach Piazza Riforma, a beautiful square where you can relax and take in the surroundings. From Piazza Riforma, continue straight onto Via Nassa, a charming shopping street. Follow Via Nassa until you reach the end of the street. You will see the lake ahead; turn right at the junction onto Lungolago. Walk along the lakefront promenade until you reach the intersection with Via Castello. Turn left onto Via Castello, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Piazza Castello. This square is a lovely spot to enjoy the atmosphere of Lugano.

    From any point in Lugano, you can easily reach Piazza Castello using public transport. If you start at the main train station (Lugano Stazione), take bus number 4 or 5 from the bus stop located just outside the station. The bus will take you towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Riforma'. From there, exit the bus and walk towards the lake along Via Nassa. Continue walking straight until you reach the lakefront.
