Walking
If you are starting from Lugano's main train station (Stazione di Lugano), exit the station and turn left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Nassa, a popular shopping street. Turn right onto Via Nassa and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. At the end, turn left onto Via Cattedrale, which will lead you uphill. Follow Via Cattedrale as it curves and rises; you will eventually see the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence on your right at Via Borghetto 1.
