Walking
Start at Montreux train station (Gare de Montreux). Exit the station and head towards the lakeside promenade. Walk along the promenade heading southeast, enjoying views of Lake Geneva. Continue on the promenade until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Casino. Cross the road to Avenue du Casino, and then turn left. Continue straight until you reach the end of the avenue, where you will find a small pathway leading into the forest area. Follow the path upwards, which is marked as Sentier De Montagne. The trail will lead you through beautiful natural scenery, eventually arriving at Sent. des Gorges du Chauderon, 1820 Montreux.

From Montreux train station, take bus number 201 towards 'Les Planches'. Get off at the stop named 'Gorges du Chauderon'. From the bus stop, follow the signs leading to the hiking trails. You will find the entrance to Sentier De Montagne nearby, which will guide you on a scenic path through the mountains.

If you're staying near the Montreux waterfront, start at the Montreux Convention Centre. Head east along the lakeside promenade until you reach the Montreux Palace Hotel. From there, continue walking past the hotel, crossing the road to Avenue du Casino. Follow Avenue du Casino until you reach the intersection with Sent. des Gorges du Chauderon. Turn left onto this path to start your hike along Sentier De Montagne.
