Walking
From the center of Mürren, head towards the cable car station at the Schilthorn. Follow the signs that say 'Schilthorn - Piz Gloria'. Once you reach the station, purchase a ticket for the cable car to Grütschalp. After arriving at Grütschalp, you will need to switch to the train towards Grindelwald. The train ride will take you through beautiful alpine scenery. Get off at the Grindelwald train station.

At Grindelwald train station, look for the signs that direct you to the local bus service. Take Bus 120 towards 'Bachalpsee'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bachalpsee bus stop, follow the signs to the lake which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

Alternatively, after reaching the Grindelwald train station, you can take a taxi directly to the Bachalpsee trailhead if you prefer not to walk or take the bus. This will save you time and is convenient if you are traveling with family or a group.
