Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mürren, head towards the Mürren cable car station located on the main street. Take the cable car down to the valley station at Grütschalp. Once you arrive at Grütschalp, look for the train station. Take the train towards Interlaken, which will take approximately 20 minutes. When you reach Interlaken Ost (Interlaken East) station, exit the train and follow the signs towards the bus terminal. From the bus terminal, take the bus towards Interlaken West. After about 5 minutes, get off at the Schloss stop. The Monastery and Interlaken Castle will be a short walk from the bus stop.

Combination of Cable Car and Train
Start at the main street in Mürren and walk to the Mürren cable car station. Take the cable car down to Grütschalp. Once you disembark, follow the path to the train station. Board the train heading to Interlaken Ost, which takes around 20 minutes. After you arrive at Interlaken Ost station, follow the signs to exit the station and head towards the bus stop. Catch the bus to Interlaken West and get off at the Schloss bus stop. You will see the Monastery and Interlaken Castle just a short walk from there.

From the main street in Mürren, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the cable car station. Take the bus to Interlaken. The trip will take approximately 45 minutes. Make sure to get off at the Schloss stop, which is near the Monastery and Interlaken Castle. After you get off, walk for a few minutes to reach the castle. This option is slower, but it offers you scenic views along the way.
