Getting There

Hiking
From Mürren, head towards the Schilthorn cable car station located at the eastern end of the village. Follow the signs for the trail leading to Schilthorn. The hike takes approximately 1-2 hours and offers stunning views along the way. Once you reach the Schilthorn station, take the cable car to the top. After enjoying the views, you will need to take the cable car back down to the intermediate station, then transfer to the cable car heading towards the valley. From there, follow signs for the trail leading to Mönch. This part of the hike can take an additional 2-3 hours depending on your pace.

Train and Cable Car
Start at the Mürren train station and take the train to Lauterbrunnen. From Lauterbrunnen, transfer to the Wengen train and take it to Wengen station. From Wengen, follow the signs to the cable car station that leads to the Männlichen. Take the cable car to Männlichen, and from there, you can hike towards the Grindelwald area. Continue on the trail heading towards Mönch. This route is longer but provides a scenic view of the mountains.
