Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mürren, head towards the cable car station, which is located at the top of the village. Take the cable car down to the valley station of Grütschalp. Once you arrive at Grütschalp, follow the signs for the train station. Board the train towards Interlaken. Get off the train at the Oberhofen am Thunersee stop. Exit the station and walk towards Schloss 4, which should be just a short 10-minute walk from the station along the lakeside.

• Train

  From Mürren, take the cable car down to Grütschalp. Once you arrive at Grütschalp, catch the train heading towards Interlaken. At the Oberhofen am Thunersee station, exit and follow the signs directing you towards Schloss 4. It’s a pleasant walk along the lakeside and should take you about 10 minutes.

• Combination (Cable Car + Train)

  Start at the main square in Mürren and make your way to the cable car station. Take the cable car down to Grütschalp. Once you arrive at the valley, transfer to the train station and board a train heading towards Interlaken. Travel for several stops and disembark at Oberhofen am Thunersee. From the train station, head towards the lakeside, and follow the path to Schloss 4, which will take around 10 minutes.
