From the center of Mürren, head towards the cable car station. You can find it by walking down the main street, which is called Dorfstraße. Continue walking until you reach the end of the street where the cable car station is located. Once there, take the cable car to Gimmelwald. The ride provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Upon arriving in Gimmelwald, you will find the start of the Wanderweg Mürren - Gimmelwald trail just outside the cable car station. Follow the signs for the hiking trail, which will lead you back towards Mürren. The trail is well-marked and provides a scenic route along the mountainside.
