If you are driving, navigate to Rue des Terreaux 14, 2000 Neuchâtel. Upon entering Neuchâtel, follow signs for the city center (Centre Ville). Look for parking options nearby, as street parking can be limited. The closest parking garage is the 'Parking des Halles', which is a short walk from the museum. Expect to pay approximately 2 CHF per hour for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach the Museum of Natural History (MHNN) by public transport, locate the nearest tram or bus stop. If you are near the Neuchâtel train station, take tram line 1 towards 'Les Hauts de la Cité' and disembark at the 'Place Pury' stop. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the museum. Head south on Rue de la Serre, then turn left onto Rue des Terreaux which leads directly to the museum. The tram ticket costs approximately 3 CHF.
Walking
If you are already in the city center, you can easily walk to MHNN. From the main square (Place Pury), walk east along Rue des Cloutiers until you reach Rue des Terreaux. Turn left onto Rue des Terreaux, and the museum will be on your right. The walk takes around 10 minutes and is a pleasant stroll through the city.
