Once you are in Saas-Fee, head towards the main street, which is called Dorfstrasse. Follow the signs leading to the Alpin Express cable car station. Purchase a ticket for the Alpin Express cable car at the station. The ticket costs approximately CHF 38 for a round trip to the Mittelallain station. The cable car will take you up to an elevation of about 3,500 meters. The ride offers stunning views of the Alps and takes around 20 minutes.

Once you reach the Mittelallain station, follow the signs for the Eisgrotte Allalin. It is about a 5-10 minute walk from the cable car station. The path is well-marked and will lead you directly to the entrance of the ice grotto.
