Getting There

    If you are driving, start from the center of Schaffhausen and head south on Bahnhofstrasse. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Zürcherstrasse (Route 7). After approximately 1 kilometer, follow the signs for 'Rhein' as you approach the waterfront area. There are several parking options available near the river, including public parking lots. Parking fees usually range from CHF 1.50 to CHF 3.00 per hour.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach the Rhein via public transport, head to the Schaffhausen main train station (Bahnhof Schaffhausen). From there, take bus line 1 towards 'Gipf-Oberfrick' and get off at the 'Rhein' stop. The ride takes about 15 minutes. The bus fare is around CHF 2.50 for a single ticket. After getting off, follow the signs towards the river, and you'll find yourself at the beautiful waterfront of Rhein.
