If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Schaffhausen and head south on Bahnhofstrasse. After approximately 500 meters, turn left onto Unterstadt. Continue on this road until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Rosengässchen. Turn right onto Rosengässchen, and shortly after, you will see the Water Fountain 1940 located at number 12 on your left.

To reach Water Fountain 1940 using public transportation, take the bus from Schaffhausen Bahnhof (the main train station). Board bus number 6 towards 'Hohentengen' and get off at the 'Rosengässchen' stop. From the bus stop, walk about 100 meters along Rosengässchen, and you will find the Water Fountain 1940 located at number 12.

If you are already in the city center and prefer to walk, make your way to the main square, Marktplatz. From there, head south on Unterstadt.
