    If you are traveling by car, start in the center of Solothurn. Head southeast on Hauptgasse toward Murtengasse. Continue onto St. Niklausstrasse, then turn left onto Aarestrasse. Follow the road to the roundabout and take the first exit onto Bielstrasse. After approximately 3 km, you will see signs for Rüttenen. Follow these signs, and after another 2 km, you will arrive at the parking area near the entrance to Verena Gorge. Note that parking is available, but there may be a parking fee. From the parking area, it is a short walk to the hermitage.

    To reach Verena Gorge Hermitage using public transportation, start at the Solothurn train station. Take the bus number 11 toward Rüttenen.
