If you're driving from the center of Solothurn, take the A5 motorway and head towards Feldbrunnen-St. Niklaus. Exit at 'Feldbrunnen' and follow signs for 'Schloss Waldegg'. The drive should take approximately 10-15 minutes. There is parking available near the castle.

From Solothurn train station, take a train towards 'Ostring' and get off at 'Feldbrunnen-St. Niklaus' station. The journey takes about 10 minutes. From there, you can either walk (which is about 20 minutes) or catch bus line 11 towards 'Feldbrunnen, Schloss'. Get off at the 'Schloss Waldegg' stop, which is directly in front of the castle.
